Description

This Jenn-Air 30" Electric Downdraft Modular Cooktop comes with a grill assembly and two fixed coil elements. One can also purchase (separately) the optional radiant or coil element cartridge to use in place of the grill assembly. This cooktop is a Jenn-Air model JED8130ADW. I bought this cooktop in 2007, and not long after it was installed, the white enamel started to flake off around the coil element openings. I called Jenn-Air, and they said it was cosmetic, so I would have to pay for the repairs, even though it was still under warranty, which didn't sit well with me. I then called Lowe's, where I bought it, and they gave me the run around. So, I bought a different brand and am selling this cooktop. It has been used less than a year. The flaking enamel (which can be seen in the second pic) does not affect the operation of the unit, which works just fine. This unit originally cost over $600.
